TMA-1

The TMA-1 project, carried out with the support of Giussani Research and many technical and private sponsors, have realized a very special Hi-Fi hi end loudspeaker system with the same exact proportions of the Tycho Magnetic Anomaly 1 monolyte of 2001: a Space Odissey produced and directed by Stanley Kubrick basing on the novel by Arthur C. Clarke.

TMA-1

TMA-1

It is a system whose dimensions in centimeters are 25 D x 100 W x 225 H. These are in the same ratio (12, 22, 32) as those of the Clarke monolith.
The black frame covers a structure composed of two distinct loudspeakers systems, equipped with many transducers mounted on the front as on the rear side, that due to the 30° orientation are able to emit a sound front with identical frequency response measured at 360 degrees.
Therefore the sound emission is perfectly omnidirectional and the better installation for the GR TMA-1 is at the center of a large free space.

TMA-1

The GR TMA-1 has the design philosophy as the NPS-1000 Insignis system and obviously implements the same technology of the NPS Emission©.
Many loudspeakers systems manufacturers were inspired by the Clarke’s TMA-1, but nobody had ever thought to make a monolith able to deliver a very hi-quality sound at 360 degrees, having the same exact proportions to that of the famous film.

The GR TMA-1 is not to be sold, but to be rented for events, for large areas or shops.
